At FOLD Ireland we provide apartments and bungalows specifically designed for older people and couples.
Our services have been developed to meet the housing and support needs of older people. Our services are designed to promote the quality of life and maintain an independent lifestyle in an environment that breaks down barriers of social isolation and promote overall well being.
A key objective of this service is to actively encourage residents to maintain their independence.
To achieve our objective of providing a safe, secure and independent living environment, most properties are fitted with an emergency 24 hour Telecare call system. When triggered this alerts either scheme based staff or FOLD Ireland Telecare Call Advisors who will respond and provide assistance.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the broad range of social activities (if available) within the scheme and also in the wider community through organised events and activities.
If you have been nominated for a FOLD Ireland property, you will be given the opportunity to view the property before accepting an offer from FOLD Ireland. Any questions regarding the property or relating to a tenancy with FOLD Ireland will be addressed by the Housing Officer during the viewing or at the pre-tenancy course.
All tenants have their own self contained home which has a bathroom, kitchen and heating system.
