Twelve (12) staff from Fold Ireland ‘s Cherryfields and Anam Cara housing with care schemes have graduated with Level 5 in Healthcare Support awarded by Quality Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
Martina Conroy, Care Services Manager, Fold Ireland said, “We are immensely proud of our care staff in achieving the qualification Level 5 qualification which has become the minimum standard for working as part of the care services team in Fold Ireland. Achieving the qualification demonstrates the commitment and dedication of each individual and the high standards of the team at Fold Ireland. It is important to us, our residents and their families that staff are all working to the same high standards in our housing with care schemes.”
The QQI Healthcare Support qualification was delivered by Riversdale Adult Education service which is part of the Dublin Dun Laoighaire Education and Training Board. Staff completed modules in Communications, Work Experience, Care Support, Care skills, Palliative Care Support, Nursing Theory and Practice, Health and Safety at work and Care of the Older Persons.
The graduates were presented with their Awards at a special ceremony hosted by Fold Ireland in recognition of their success at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Santry, Dublin 9. The graduates were joined by members of the Senior Management Team and Fold Ireland’s Board.
